The Big Issue Winter Walk

My High point:

Hearing everyone’s positive comments as I was walking the last mile again, and again, and again….

My Low point:

Realising there was one lone walker ahead of me determined to complete the course in record breaking time irrespective of whether the refreshment stops had been opened or not and I had 249 other people to look after.

My funniest moment:

Not realising how many vendors were going to turn up with cats and dogs in tow!

The person who made my trip and why:

Jay, the Fundraising Events Manager at Big Issue, who had put in so many hours of work to make the event really creative, relevant and fun for the walkers.

 The best food:

Mince pies and mulled wine at the Roundhouse! Cant beat that at 2am!

 My summary in less than 20 words:

18 miles has never been so long or so much fun!
